Bio coming soon

alanAlan - drums

He grew up a poor white boy singing in a catholic church choir, where he recorded his first full length album. His Dad wanted him to be another Al Hirt and got him a trumpet. The local neighbors put a stop to that after one week. He went on to try playing the guitar, but found that his fingers did not want to cooperate in making chords properly. It was then his mother said, "you're always beating the hell outta my pots and pans, go get some drums". He did and signed on with several local Virginia country and rock bands and here he is today still trying to perfect his craft. He currently plays a 7 piece Yamaha "YD Series" kit with Zildjian and Paiste cymbals and whatever twigs he can find to whittle into sticks.

mikeMike - guitar,keys, vocals

Michael Kelly was born and raised in good ol' Midwest America in the small town of Granite City, Illinois. Starting out as a drummer in the fourth grade, he later acquired the guitar and keyboard habit and by high school gigged regularly with the rock outfit Gideon throughout the 1970's. In the eighties he decided to get serious about learning music and attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville earning a BM in Music Education with a concentration in viola. After college he taught music in various public schools in Illinois and then later Florida. In the late nineties he got back into performing, while living in the Tampa Bay area, with the disco/funk group Alphabet Soup. However, he soon ditched his platform shoes and leather pants and moved with his wife and son to Nashville, Tennessee where he studied Audio Engineering at the world renowned S.A.E. Institute of Technology. Upon graduation, he worked at Martina McBrides Blackbird Studio and Sony/Tree Music Publishing Pro Tools Studio B. Currently he resides in the Jacksonville, FL area and freelances as a sound engineer and string teacher. He sings and plays guitar/ keyboard in the Streetlegal Band.

The Cheeze
Born on the coast, Raised on a mountain
Music was water, And I drank from the fountain

Strayed for awhile, Because of the dough
Now I’m ready to jam, Bring on the show

I’m a 5-string thumper, Without any vox
But it’s all good, Cause this band rocks

They said write a bio, But what can I say
Does it all really matter , Anyway

Just living this life, And having some fun
What more could I want, Now this rhyme is done

Steve Steve - guitar & vocals

Steve first picked up a guitar in 1964, learning how to play the
Theme from Peter Gunn on his brother's old Sears Silvertone
F-hole acoustic. It was a short jump to his first electric, playing
"Hanky Panky" and "Louie,Louie" in garage bands. He landed in
Daytona Beach, FL at age 13 where the influences of a local band, The Allman Joys, took over. He played in local bands in the beach club circuit on the East and Gulf coasts of Florida throughout the early 70's. Steve has a ridiculous collection of guitars and amps. You might catch him playing anything from his vintage Fender and Gibson pieces, all the way to a no name, hot pink, forty dollar yard sale guitar. "I'm glad to have hooked up with Street Legal. It's great to be making music again"
